Distracted Driving Awareness Month

Curtis Parker shares a personal story about the dangers of texting and driving. Parker says his neighbor’s son was driving to meet a friend, and sent a text message to say he was on his way. Parker says in that instant where the teen sent the text, he crashed into a mailbox and damaged his car.  But the crash could have been much worse. Someone could have been injured, or worse. During Distracted Driving Awareness Month, DRIVE SMART Virginia and Virginia Farm Bureau are teaming up to remind you about the dangers of distracted driving.  Buckle Up Phone Down
