Spotlight On: YOVASO
Youth of Virginia Speak Out (YOVASO) is kicking off its annual “Buckle Up, Drive Sober” Campaign January 30 – February 17 for high schools statewide. The theme is “Have a Heart, Drive Smart” and schools are challenged to develop creative ideas for educating teens in their school and community about seat belt safety and driving alcohol and drug free. Schools will compete in brackets depending on school size and will be eligible to win cash and prizes! The grand prize winner will receive a free showing of the nationally acclaimed “Think Fast” production that quizzes students on safe driving and pop culture in a fun, interactive game show format.
