Child Passenger Safety
Current Virginia Law requires that all children under the age of eight be properly restrained in a child restraint devise when traveling in a motor vehicle. Laws in other states vary greatly:
Children and teens from age eight to sixteen must be buckled up. This law is primary enforcement in Virginia.
