  1. Motorcycle Safety. DSV is committed to making sure that all motorcyclists in Virginia continue to be required to wear helmets. For the past several years, there has been a strong movement within the motorcycle community to repeal this law. From a safety perspective, there can be no doubt that this would be a mistake.
  2. Graduated Licensing. DSV is committed to working to tighten and improve current graduated licensing laws. One important area that should be addressed is distracted driving, most specifically, the need for a ban on cell phone chatter. This ban would be for teens only.
