Distracted Driving Simulator

State Farm Insurance has awarded DRIVE SMART Virginia a grant to fund a driving simulator as well as a distracted driving program to work with high school students across Virginia. The simulator is assembled inside an actual vehicle and students wear eye goggles that simulate various roadway situations. They are then asked to read and send text messages, or take "selfies." We have already booked over a dozen events for this spring and look forward to working with State Farm on this endeavor. If you are interested in bringing the simulator to your school, please contact Kristin at kristin.smolenski@drivesmartva.org.
